ARE YOUR MUSHROOMS EDIBLE?

Edibility of our mushrooms is guaranteed by the analyzes that periodically make product, at partner laboratories from the health ministry. In addition mushrooms Espresso uses only certified mycelium.

WHICH SPECIES CAN GROW?

With Mushrooms Espresso kit you can grow mushrooms in oyster species, particularly the variety Ostreatus, Djamor, cornucopiae.

DO MUSHROOMS HAVE THE TASTE OF COFFEE?

Mushrooms do not absorb the caffeine from the substrate. Their flavor is typical of the fungus and does not contain caffeine.

THE PORCINO CAN BE GROWN?

The porcini mushroom is the only one that you can not cultivate, because it grows in symbiosis with plants.

WHAT IS THE WHITE FIL ON THE COFFEE?'

The white part is the mycelium, which is the “root” of the fungus from which will arise once the mushrooms to light.

SHOULD I ADD COFFE IN MY KIT?

Our kit is ready to use. Do not simply open, pour and wait for fungi to grow.

Mushrooms are moisture lovers. So your kit should always be moist, bagnadolo two to three times a day. If you are going away for one day left in the kit a damp cloth or wet paper, in order to retain moisture for longer.

HOW MANY MUSHROOMS PRODUCES A KIT?

WHERE CAN I KEEP MY KIT PRIOR TO INITIAL PRODUCTION?

WHEN CAN I GROWING THE EXPRESS KIT MUSHROOMS?

The kit can be grown all year round, because species such as oyster mushroom can grow at temperatures ranging from 15 to 25 ° C, allowing the domestic cultivation even in summer.

HOW MUCH LIGHT NEEDS MY KIT?

Light is one of the indispensable elements to grow your mushrooms. The kit does not want direct sunlight but that radiated illuminating normally a stay or a kitchen during daylight hours.

WHEN SHOULD I COLLECT MY MUSHROOMS?

The mushrooms will grow faster. When you see that these will be well developed (after about 4/5 days from their first appearance) and their color will be tacked, and hat will be completely open, that will be the right time for harvesting.

HOW TO COLLECT MUSHROOMS?

CAN I PRODUCE BY MY OWN A HOME KIT?

Funghi Espresso currently only uses coffee grounds collected from the bars and restaurants.
